Begin installation on the right (throttle) side of the motorcycle.
Removing one at a time, replace the two bolts on the fender strut that correspond with the receivers on the GhostBrackets. Insert chrome bolt
through stainless steel slotted keeper (head of bolt fits in the indent in the slotted keeper). Place chrome bolt / slotted keeper through the two
holes on the fender strut.
Note: When the motorcycle has a backrest attachment, install 1-3 washers as required under the front slotted keeper to align the
front and rear slotted keepers. The lengths of the bolts that attach the slotted keepers to the motorcycle are designed to fit most
motorcycle applications without protruding into the rear wheel well. Please check to confirm that the bolt does not interfere with
the rear wheel. If the bolts interfere with the wheel, a shorter bolt may be required.
Install the key into t he lock located on the top of the GhostBracket . T urn the key to open the lock and lower the GhostBracket onto the slotted
keeper. When the bracket is seat ed completely on the slotted keepers, turn the key to the locking position and remove the key. The
GhostBracket should now be locked onto the motorcycle. Check the fitment each time the GhostBracket is installed by pulling up on the
bracket.
Place the saddlebag against the GhostBracket . Check that the saddlebag placement is correct ( with adequate clearance from the seat and the turn
signals) and trace around the outer edge of the bracket. Remove the bracket from the motorcycle. Place the GhostBracket on the saddlebag in the
location of the tracing. Mark the holes to be drilled.
It is recommended that the first hole t o be drilled is the top front. Place a black butt onhead bolt through the Ghost Bracket and into the
saddlebag. Check the fitment of the saddlebag and GhostBracket on the motorcycle. If fitment of the saddlebag and GhostBracket are
satisfactory, then continue drilling the remaining holes in the saddlebag. Place black butt onhead bolts in the remaining holes in the saddlebag.
Place washers on the bolls that protrude into the saddlebag. (JamNylok nuts are used on butt onhead bolts inside saddlebag. ) Do not over
tighten. Over tightening may distort t he washer.
Ghost Brackets come with mounting bolts that are 1" in length. Saddlebags come in various thicknesses depending on brand of
saddlebag. If the bolt protrudes into the saddlebag farther than the edge of the JamNylok nut, the bol t may be reversed (bolt head placed
inside of the saddlebag) or th e bolt length shortened. The GhostBracket and saddlebag assembly are now ready to be installed on the
motorcycle. Place the assembly onto the motorcycle as stated above. The GhostBracket has a lock that only allows removal of the key while in the locked
position; this is a safety feature ensuring the GhostBracket is safely locked onto the motorcycle at all times. Repeat installation instructions for left
(clutch) side of the motorcycle.

GhostBracket, make any express warranties of any kind with respect to the GhostBracket. Any implied warranty does not cover defects caused by
modification or alteration of the GhostBracket or caused by physical abuse to or misuse of the GhostBracket or its use and/or operation in a manner
contrary to the accompanying instructions. Failure to install and/or use the GhostBracket in the manner described by the accompanying instructions
shall render all warranties, expressed and/or implied, void and release the manufacturer, distributor, and retailer from any and all liability arising from
