Step 1 remove your OEM turn signal units and unplug from harness

Step 2 Place the tomahawk front led turn signal strip up to the triple tree ( do not peel of red strip). It should sit just under the headlight on the front side of the lower triple tree.

Step 3 If the strip ends do not wrap around the end of the triple tree completely - lightly heat with a heat gun or hair dryer and form them around triple tree ends.  Once you have a perfect fit clean the triple tree with alcohol to remove any oils or contaminants. Remove the red strip off the back; this will expose the very high bond tape (VHB). You have one shot to make the strip fit perfect. It is easier to place strip on when it is slightly warmed by a heat gun or hair dryer. Press the strip onto the triple tree firmly so adhesive can make contact. Once the adhesive makes contact that is it.

Step 4  Clip the ends off the OEM turn signal wires and determine which is left or right. You can do this by connecting the OEM wires to the wires for the led strip and then activate the turn signals. Make sure you have the turn signals connected correctly. Next you can either solder or use butt connectors that are supplied. It is recommended that all wires be soldered to ensure proper operation. To cover over wire connections either 3M aircraft quality black tape or use black heat shrink tube.
